Download MAME 0.124a
Mame stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator and is able to emulate a large amount of old consoles and arcade games. Please note that most rom images are copyrighted, so you must have an original copy at home before you can play it with Mame. Very shortly after the previous edition, the developers released another version, with 0.124a as a serial number, to fix a failed last-minute bug fix. The program currently has support for 7031 rom sets of no less than 3746 unique games. The announcement and list of changes are as follows:

Take two of MAME 0.124 is now available on the Latest Release page. This update supplants the previous release. If you downloaded a binary previously, you’ll need to grab a new one. If you downloaded the sources, you can either grab a fresh copy or apply this patch to the ones you downloaded. You can identify the fixed one in that it reports version 0.124a if you run it with -help, or in the version.c file. Apologies for the excitement today!
