Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware 1.37

Malwarebytes has released version 1.37 of Anti-Malware. This program is the successor to RogueRemover. It can be compared to Lavasoft’s Ad-Aware; however, it does not focus on fighting spyware and adware, but on removing malicious software that pretends to be a bona fide antivirus or antispyware solution, but actually has less good intentions. As with Ad-Aware, there is a paid variant that offers additional functionality, including real-time protection. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

Added:

• Protection module now 64-bit compatible (XP SP2 and higher only).
• New 32-bit protection module for XP SP2 and higher.
• New heuristics for Trojan.JSRedir and other infections.
• Type of scan displayed on scanning page.
• Support for Arabic and Estonian language.

Fixed:

• Dramatically improved product updating.
• /runupdate now completely silent, including errors.
