Anyone who has been to the CeBit fair in Hanover may have seen Knoppix 3.2. However, it was not yet available to the general public during the fair, and that has now changed. Knoppix is ​​a Linux distribution that must be booted from a CD. This includes KDE 3.1, OpenOffice 1.0.2, and KOffice 1.2.1. The changelog looks like this:

  • KDE 3.1 (woody release) from ktown.kde.org
  • Evolution 1.2.1
  • OpenOffice 1.0.2 (german and english)
  • KOffice 1.2.1
  • Possibility to create a persistent homedir with personal data and desktop settings on a memory stick or similar, optional with AES encryption.
  • Many updates and new tables for hardware detection
