Download KDE 3.5.9

Although version 4.0 has been out for a while, the developers behind the K Desktop Environment released a new version from the 3.5 family of the popular desktop environment of the same name for GNU/Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris, among others, this week. KDE ships with a standard desktop including fifteen packages of applications such as a Personal Information Manager, multimedia, administration and network management programs, games, and so on. New features and bug fixes in this branch include, but are not limited to:

• A Favorite email folders view in KMail, as well as drag and drop support for folders
• Easier scheduling in KOrganizer through various improvements in the user interface
• Improvements in KAlarm and KAddressbook
