SurfRight has released a new version of HitmanPro. HitmanPro can remove viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits and other forms of malware. By smart scanning and using cloud computing, the software performs a complete scan in often no more than a few minutes. To remove infections, the program must be activated. A free key can be requested the first time, but a new key must be purchased after 30 days. Since the previous stable release, the following changes and improvements have been made:

Added:

• Repair for NTFS Symbolic Links placed by ZeroAccess on Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials. Now repairs folders and corresponding files in Winsxs folders as well. In addition, ACL security has been reset.

improved:

• Detection of zero-day ransomware through forensic clustering.
• Java exploit drive-by-download detection through forensic clustering.

Fixed:

• Unexpected termination of HitmanPro during remnant scan on computers with FAT32 system volume.
