Download HitMan Pro 2.0.12

Hitman Pro has just been upgraded to version 2.0.12 from its developers. The new release is via this link and takes up a generous three megabytes of disk space. Hitman Pro uses, among others, Ad-Aware, Spy Sweeper, Spybot, SpywareBlaster, CWShredder and possibly Trend Micro Sysclean or McAfee to remove viruses, spy, ad and malware from the system. Hitman Pro is actually no more than a scripting engine that first downloads and installs all programs and available updates and then runs the selected programs one by one. Afterwards, a comprehensive report is generated with all found and removed junk. Version 2.0.12 comes with the following changes:

• Improved SurfRight for Outlook Express and Office Outlook (fixed the long waiting time when starting Outlook – caused by Windows Messenger)
• The built-in Hitman Pro AntiSpyware module has been extended with removal tools against SearchAssistent and Response Target. Also improved detection of suspicious homepages.
• At the end of Hitman Pro, the connection to the Internet is checked. If it worked at the beginning and stopped working at the end (due to spyware removal), the user will be given the option to reset the Internet protocol and important Internet Explorer settings.
• Added proxy server support for SpywareBlaster 3.3; in this version of SpywareBlaster, its developer has changed the use of a proxy server.
• SurfRight Helper updated (including support for MSN Messenger 7)
