Trend Micro has released version 2.02 of HijackThis. This program is a tool for finding malicious software. It scans the computer for settings that could have been adjusted by, for example, spyware. The results of the scan are stored in a log file, which can then be analyzed. on this page a brief explanation of how to use the program can be found. The program was developed by Merijn Bellekom and is currently owned by Trend Micro. Another perhaps well-known program of his hand is CWShredder. Trend Micro has not disclosed what has changed in this release.
