Software Update: Halite 0.4.0.3

Binary Notions has released a new version of its Bittorrent client Halite. This program, which owes its name to the eponymous mineral, is open source and is being developed by the Irishman Eóin O’Callaghan. Halite uses the Arvid Norberg made libtorrentlibrary and some boostlibraries. Since version 0.4.0, the following changes and improvements have been made to the program:

From v 0.4.0.2 to 0.4.0.3:

  • Refixed Unicode.
  • Fixed a bug with gigabyte sizes.
  • Compiling with VS 2015 community.
  • Splitter proportional size functionality enabled.
  • Add torrent dialog box default size increased.

From v 0.4.0.1 to 0.4.0.2:

  • Updated to libtorrent 1.05
  • Fixed a bug with Unicode.
  • Displayed byte values ​​auto format to KB, MB, etc.
  • Global setting for specifying default allocation.
