Download GrabIt 1.7.2 Beta 4

Ilan Shemes is busy developing the next generation of GrabIt, but due to two errors found, a fourth beta release of version 1.7.2 has now appeared. This program is able to download files from newsgroups. Binaries that are split into several small files are automatically merged into the original file. GrabIt is free to use, but only registered users have unlimited access to Grabit Usenet Search and Grabit Usenet Browser, with more search results and a longer history. New in version 1.7.2 is support for ssl connections, the speed of decoding has been greatly improved and a lot of time has been spent on fixing bugs. The changelog for this release looks like this:

• BUGFIX: Removed a stack overflow vulnerability in the NZB importer that Niels Teusink discovered
• BUGFIX: GrabIt no longer disconnects on every server error, lowering the possibility of a ‘Connection limit reached’ error
