Download Gnome Partition Editor 0.3.8
The developers of Gnome Partition Editor have released a new version of the open source program. This time it concerns version 0.3.8, which if source code can be downloaded. There is also a live CD of this branch available, but it is still in the testing phase and is considered unstable by the developers. With the help of Gnome Partition Editor, also called Gparted, it is possible to partition a hard disk or modify existing partitions. The program uses GNU libparted to make the changes to the partition table and gtkmm to build the user interface. What changes have been made in Gparted 0.3.8 can be read below:
