Software Update: Freemake Video Converter 4.1.6

Version 4.1.6 of Freemake Video Converter has been released. This free program converts audio and video files to and from fifty supported formats. Not only can this change from one format to another, but also adjustments in resolution and sound can be made. Furthermore, parts of the video can be cut and videos can be directly downloaded from a large number of websites. The download is small, but the bulk of the program is downloaded during installation.

Since version 4.0 there is an optional Gold Packadd-on, which can, among other things, automatically trim black bars at the top and bottom, has additional options for DVD menus, and backs up during video editing. A voluntary donation is requested for this addition, otherwise advertisements will be shown. Freemake hasn’t updated the website yet, so we can’t tell you what has changed in this version.
