Download FLV Player 2.0

Martijn de Visser has a new version of FLV Player put online. The program has meanwhile arrived at version 2.0, which can be downloaded here from our file server. FLV Player is able to play single flv files. These Flash files are used by sites such as YouTube, MySpace and Google Video to show visitors movies in their own player. FLV Player, on the other hand, only needs the video file and plays the movie in its own environment. The FLV Player 2.0 release notes look like this:

The most important and also most requested new feature is the option to switch to fullscreen mode.

Besides that obvious addition, I have also taken the opportunity to implement a new design, added some preferences like auto-check for updates and use video smoothing. I also added the option to scroll through time with the mousewheel and made it possible to use the keyboard to trigger most of FLV Player’s functionality.[break]
