Download DVDFab 8.1.7.8

A minor update to DVDFab has been released. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from a DVD or Blu-ray into a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie, with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles.

The different parts of the program each have a own license. Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is still free. In version 8.1.7.8, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• Fix: A crash problem in preview when switching titles in certain cases.

DVD Copy:

• New: Added support for a new protection as found on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” (UK).
• Fix: The backed-up disc won’t play problem when copying “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” in “Full Disc” mode.

DVD ripper:

• Fix: A crash problem when there is 502 error.

Blu-ray Copy:

• Fix: A freeze problem when opening a few Blu-ray discs.
