Comodo Security Solutions has renewed Internet Security and lifted it to version 5.3. This program comes with both a firewall and virus protection and it is possible to install either one, the other, or both. Internet Security is available for Windows XP, Vista and 7 and has separate downloads for 32bit and 64bit editions of these operating systems. Comodo Internet Security is free to use, but there are also a plus-, pro– and completeversion, which offer more features. Below are the main improvements made in this release:

• CIS causes massive amount of entries in windows security audit logs
• AV does not validate the revocation status of the certificates in signed binaries
• BSOD in cmderd.sys
