Download CCEnhancer 1.4.3

Regular visitors to the Meuktracker are undoubtedly familiar with the cleaning tool CCleaner. This program removes temporary and unnecessary files from Windows and various programs. The list of supported programs can be expanded by placing a few lines in a configuration file yourself. CCEnhancer makes this easy by doing it at the touch of a button. However, Piriform recently released version 3.0 of CCleaner and CCEnhancer couldn’t handle it. Version 1.4.3 fixes this problem, but not for the 64-bit versions of Windows. The beta of version 1.5.0, which is on the same download page can be found on those versions of Windows.

CCEnhancer 1.4.3 – CCleaner 3.0 Support!

Within an hour of it’s release, I already had 30 emails/comments telling me that it didn’t work correctly with the new version 3.0 of CCleaner. It was unable to detect the path as Piriform changed the location in the registry that CCleaner’s keys were stored. This new update fixes the issue, however it now requires CCleaner 3.0. I may try to backport it in later versions – however I just wanted to get this release out ASAP.
