Download Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 1.1

Developer Infinity Ward has the first update a week after the release of ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’ released which updates the game to version 1.1. The patch fixes the issue where stats and rank are lost when a user switches from an unranked server to a ranked server. Infinity Ward states that stats and ranks that have been lost are not recoverable with the update and that the update only fixes the problem:

This patch addresses the issue of Rank / Stat resets reported by users moving from a Modded / Un-ranked server to a non Modded / Ranked Server. This update is not intended to revert back to any previously lost rank, but to prevent the issue from happening in the future.

INSTALLATION:

• Download the file below
• Unzip all files into your main Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ folder, default is C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare, overwriting as necessary
