Software Update: Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box Demo

Following on from the first patch, Criterion Games now also has the PC demo of Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box released. The demo is from this server for Windows as a zip file. In addition to Burnout Paradise, The Ultimate Box also contains the updates Codename: Cagney Pack, Bikes Pack, PlayStation Trophies Pack and Party Pack. The demo is the full game, but with the limitation that only 30 minutes can be played at a time, both online and offline. EA describes the demo of the PC version of Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box as follows:

Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box is a special edition consisting of the award-winning game Burnout Paradise, the previously released downloadable content updates Cagney and Bikes, and the new Burnout Paradise Party Pack. The Party Pack is a true party game version of Burnout Paradise, an offline multiplayer mode that pits players against each other in stunt, speed and skill events. This game mode for up to eight players consists of dozens of challenges in which players take turns to prove they are the best. The Party Pack also includes many new features: you can restart races, the controls for older vehicles have been simplified, and the PLAYSTATION 3 version includes the new Burnout Paradise Network. Burnout Paradise Network is a ‘live’ news page where players can keep in touch with their friends and read the latest Burnout news.

Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box is the game’s debut on PC. The PC version offers multi-display support, ultra-high-resolution graphics, motion blur, soft shadow effects and much more.
