Software update: BearShare 4.7.0 beta 21

BearShare is a P2P exchange program that uses the Gnutella network. This network is used by many programs to exchange files, which means that the offer is very large. They are busy developing BearShare 4.7.0 and recently the twenty-first beta version has been released. The changelog looks like this:

Fixed DHttpSpecUserAgent to correctly parse the “Morph450 4.5.0” user agents
Fixed Long-term Reserved Uploads were retained red in upload list forever.
Fixed GGEP was only being inserted in outbound Query Hits when Browse Host was enabled.
Added Upload Mesh Console Error messages to detect outbound Alt Loc dups
Cleaned up noisy and unnecessary console messages
Updated default GWebCache URLs
Bearshare now compiles on Visual studio 2003.
Added two new check-boxes in Setup->Config: “Forward public queries to local LAN via multicast” and “Use native completion ports for socket I/O”
Don’t start multicast on platforms below Windows2000
Fixed Uploads sending duplicate Alt Locs
