The team behind Azureus has brought the first member of the 2.1 industry into the world. This program is a BitTorrent client written in Java and runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows, among others. In addition to downloading, Azureus can also set up a tracker and chat with the built-in IRC client. The functionality can be further expanded using plugins† The following changelog was left:
