Download Autoruns 8.5

Sysinternals released a new version of Autoruns to which they gave version number 8.5. The program, as the name suggests, shows all the processes that are automatically launched upon system startup. In addition, all Browser Helper Objects and Scheduled Tasks are also shown in separate tabs. The program comes with a graphical or a command-line interface, the latter of which can be processed in a login script. The announcement looks like this:

This new Autoruns release adds scanning of LSA security, notification, and authentication providers as well as Explorer protocol handlers and extensions.
