Download AutoPatcher XP 5.0 (January 2005)

The AutoPatcher homepage has not been updated yet, but since a few days it has been forum of Neowin version 5.0 of AutoPatcher XP available. This program includes nine critical and eight recommended updates from the Microsoft Windows Update site, plus a load of tweaks and add-ons. Perfect as a supplement to a fresh Windows XP installation. Although AutoPatcher 5.0 is primarily intended for a machine that already has Service Pack 2 installed, it will work with any version of Windows XP. The big advantage of this is that the size of the download has been reduced significantly. While the Full version of the previous release was still 277MB, now it’s (only) 120.

There is also less good news. Since Raptor was alone in the making of this release, he hasn’t found time to add hacked files, such as a modified uxtheme.dll or tcpip.sys. The registry Undo tool is also missing, but both will be included in a future release. Below is a list of the complete contents of AutoPatcher XP 5.0:
