Since the holidays are approaching, len0x has decided to release a stable version of Auto Gordian Knot once again. With this program, DVDs and MPEG2 files can be converted into an AVI file in a simple way. Among other things, DivX or XviD can be used for video compression and ac3, dts or mp3 for sound compression. The development of the program has been at a standstill for a while, because for him the costs for len0x did not outweigh the benefits. He did leave the ‘community’ with the promise to occasionally release updates and since August there have indeed been several beta releases and now a stable version. Other than a newer version of the XviD codec, nothing has changed from the last beta release:

Its been a while since the last stable release and now that festive season is starting I feel like everyone should enjoy the latest features in a stable version. No changes from last beta apart from a new XviD version.
