Auto Gordian Knot is a program that can easily convert DVDs and MPeg2 files to an avi file. DivX or XviD can be used for video compression and AC3, DTS, CBR MP3 or VBR MP3 for sound compression. The developer has recently released a new version with 1.88 beta as the version number. The changelog looks like this:
