Anonymous: 26970 points us to the first release of Audiograbber 1.83. The program is capable of ripping CD audio to mp3 or wma. There are some minor non-notable bug fixes in this release. What is worth mentioning is that Audiograbber, in contrast to its predecessors, will now go through life as freeware. Version 1.83 build 1 is from this location down and has the following release notes:

The new version will be numbered 1.83 and is almost the same as 1.82. There are no new features, just minor bug fixes and improvements. Development of Audiograbber will continue, and it won’t be long before 1.84 comes out with support for more internal encoders.
