Software Update: Alcohol 52% & 120% 1.9.2.1705

With Alcohol 120% you can make backups of your CDs and DVDs, even if they are copy protected. Also, with Alcohol 120% you can load your CD or DVD images into a virtual DVD player, and use them as if you had burned the images to CD/DVD. For example, you don’t have to change CDs every time you want to play a different game. The smaller brother of this program, Alcohol 52%, lacks the burning functionality and is therefore purely a virtual DVD player. The changelog announces the following changes about this new version:

Alcohol 120% – 1.9.2.1705 (released 2004-05-06)

• New: Data type profiles have now been updated.
