Software update: Acoo Browser 1.98 build 744

Spread the love

The developers behind Acoo Browser have released version 1.98 build 744 of the web browser of the same name. Acco Browser is a so-called ‘wrapper’; it uses Internet Explorer’s internal engine to display the pages, but the interface is from Acoo Browser itself. Of course it also adds the necessary additional functionality although this is less impressive with the arrival of Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Some of the extra features are an Html Source Viewer with syntax highlighting, mouse gestures, shortened URLs and the ability to zoom in and out of web pages. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes and improvements have been made:

Changes in version 1.98 build 744:

    • Fixed a Favorites menu order problem.
    • Now the function of “Restore last open sites” can also reset the last current opened tab.
    • Enhanced the “Execute Scripts” dialog.
    • Small enhancements and a few bugs fixed.

Changes in version 1.97 build 928:

      • Added “Save Target As” to the context menu for web links.
      • Improved the startup speed when there are a lot of items in favorite’s folder.
      • Now you can edit the item of “start pages list” in the “Start Pages” option dialog.
      • Small enhancements and a few bugs fixed.
