Download µTorrent 3.0 Build 25220 Beta

Development of version 3.0 of the BitTorrent client µTorrent has progressed to the point where it has been promoted from alpha to beta status. New in version 3.0 is the ability to stream videos and watch them faster. Furthermore, torrent files can be rated and the torrent client can be controlled remotely via a web browser. There is also now a separate 64bit version available, but it is not on par with the 32bit version in terms of version number and development. Below is the changelog for this release.

µTorrent 3.0 has officially gone beta! The major features are streaming of music and videos, as well as µTorrent Web, a new encrypted WebUI that requires no configuration! Check it out.

We’ve added other exciting new features to this version: torrent ratings; easy sharing of files (just drag and drop!), streaming, portable mode, and a brand-new simplified view. We’ve also touched up and streamlined the main view of the client to make it easier to use.
