Slides have appeared sharing details and prices of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. The video card would provide similar performance to the RTX 3080 when using DLSS without Frame Generation. The video card will cost $599.

Nvidia positions GeForce RTX 4070 as a GPU for 1440p gaming at 100fps, reveals slides that VideoCardz published early. According to performance claims, the video card performs on par with the GeForce RTX 3080. Those claims apply to game performance with DLSS upscaling without using the Frame Generation feature, which was introduced in DLSS 3.0.

In those same cases, the video card would average about 20 percent faster than the RTX 3070 Ti and 30 percent faster than the RTX 3070. When using Frame Generation, which uses Tensor cores to interpolate additional frames, performance should average 40, 70, and 80 percent higher than the RTX 3080, 3070 Ti, and 3070. The slides don’t detail performance without DLSS. According to VideoCardz sources, the RTX 4070 is an average of 15 percent slower in games than the RTX 4070 Ti, which Nvidia released earlier this year.

According to the slides, the video card will have a suggested retail price of $ 599. That price has been leaked before, but seems to be confirmed now. The slides mention Thursday, April 13 as the release date. Nvidia has not officially announced the GPU yet, although the company has announced the RTX 4070 previously mentioned in a press release. According to previously leaked slides, the GeForce RTX 4070 will have an AD104 GPU with 5888 CUDA cores. The video card must also receive 12GB of GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit memory bus. The total bandwidth must be 504GB/s. The tgp would be 200W.
