Just like the M8, the successor to the HTC One (M8) has a full-HD screen with a diagonal of 5 “. , presumably from Sony.

The successor to the One (M8) is codenamed Hima and runs according to UpLeaks on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810-soc. That is an octacore with four Cortex A57 cores at 2GHz and four Cortex A53 cores at 1.7GHz. The GPU in that soc is an Adreno 430 from Qualcomm itself.

The fact that HTC would have opted for a screen with full HD resolution with the Hima is different. Many other manufacturers opt for a screen with a higher resolution. LG already did that with its G3, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has that resolution and Google and Motorola have also put such a QHD screen in the Nexus 6.

According to UpLeaks, the camera has a maximum resolution of 20.7 megapixels. The only known smartphone camera with that resolution is from Sony, which has been using it for a year in its Xperia Z series. The Chinese ‘telephone good’ does not mention a definitive resolution for the front camera. The One (M8) has a front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels, the more recent Desire Eye has a 13-megapixel camera on the front.

The battery would have a capacity of 2840mAh, slightly larger than the 2600mAh battery from the One (M8). HTC would aim to present the device in March. The manufacturer showed its One (M8) at the end of March this year. There are no pictures of the Hima yet. UpLeaks was previously the first to put images and specs of the Desire Eye online; the site often posts about HTC products.
