The Google Pixel 8, which will be released later this year, will have 128GB or 256GB of storage. Sources from WinFuture report this. Google would do that to keep the price low. A Pro variant will also be released, which will have a maximum of 512GB of storage.

WinFuture bases on dealer sources. They tell the website that the Pixel 8 will be released in two variants. One has 128GB of flash storage, the other 256GB. In addition, a Pro model will be released that has a maximum of 512GB of storage memory. It is not clear whether the models will also be available with different amounts of RAM. That was not the case with the previous generation.

If the rumors are true, Google will continue to follow the line the company started with the Pixel 7. The regular Pixel 7 was available as a variant with 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with 8GB of Lpddr5 memory for both models. The Pro variant was also released in a 512GB variant.

According to WinFuture’s sources, Google chooses relatively low amounts of storage to keep the price of the devices low. WinFuture also writes that the devices will be available in three colors. The phones are expected to be released in October this year. It was previously leaked that the Pixel 8 will cost $649 or $699.
