Microsoft will again focus more on gaming on Windows in the future, according to the CEO of the Xbox division. According to him, the group has recently paid a lot of attention to the console, but the company should do more for the PC gamer.

“We took gaming on Windows very seriously a while ago,” said Phil Spencer, chief executive of the Xbox division at Microsoft, “During the release of the Xbox, our attention was somewhat scattered. like we always did, and will also support the PC again.” Spencer took on an important role at Microsoft after the massive organization in March this year. His job is to extend the Xbox services to the PC, tablet and smartphone. He made his statements to The REM.

According to the CEO, Microsoft will soon demonstrate how the PC is “extremely important” for the world of gaming. “I’ve said gaming on PC is really important to me and I think it’s incredibly important to the company,” he says. He made his statements in the run-up to the demonstration of the consumer version of Windows 10, in January. It is not known whether gaming will also be discussed there. According to ZDnet sources, only the Metro interface of Windows 10 will be shown during the meeting. Windows 10 brings, among other things, an update of DirectX, from version 11 to 12.
