Honor announces laptop with 3:2 screen and Intel Tiger Lake processor

The Chinese manufacturer Honor announces a new laptop: the Honor MagicBook V 14. The laptop is equipped with an Intel Tiger Lake H35 processor and costs approximately 820 euros. For now, the laptop only appears in China.

Honor announces the new devices on its website. The Honor MagicBook V 14 weighs just under 1.5kg and is 14.5mm thick. The laptop has a 3:2 14.2 “touch screen with a resolution of 2520×1680 pixels. For an additional cost, the laptop can be equipped with an Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU. Honor has opted for 16GB LPDDR4x for the working memory. The MagicBook V 14 comes with Windows 11 and 512GB of storage.

In addition to the ultrabook, Honor has also announced the MagicBook 16. This laptop is equipped with a 144Hz screen and gets a Ryzen 5 processor. The most powerful version of the laptop comes with a GeForce RTX 3050.

Finally, Honor also comes with a new version of its tablet. The Honor Pad V7 will appear in China later this year and costs about 265 euros. It is a variant of the Honor Pad V7 Pro announced earlier this year. According to GSM Arena, the Honor Pad V7 is equipped with a 6nm chip from Mediatek. Furthermore, the tablet has a 10.4 “screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The tablet runs on the Android shell of Honor: MagicUI 5.0.

The laptops and tablet are not coming to Europe for the time being. Earlier this year it was announced that Honor will release its smartphones in the EU. It is not known if and when the smartphones will come to the Benelux.
