Google working on fix for non-working Ok Google function on watches horloge

Google is working on a fix for the ‘Ok Google’ voice command not working on watches with Wear OS. The feature seems to have been broken for months. It is unknown when the feature should work again.

Google will help watch manufacturers “to solve the problems”, the Wear OS maker reports to The Verge. It is unknown where the problem comes from, but it has been occurring for a long time with several watch brands, according to Google’s own issue tracker. Some reports started in June, most are from November or after.

Users can use the voice command to talk to Google Assistant. That is still possible, but then it is necessary to press a button on the housing of a watch. It is unknown how many people are dealing with this issue and how long it will take for the fix to arrive.
