Google is working on a way to connect Android devices together

Google is working on an option to link multiple Android devices together via a Google account. This should make it possible to transfer telephone calls to other devices and ‘share the internet’.

Leaker Mishaal Rahman shows a screenshot of an as-yet-unannounced feature in Android that allows users to connect devices together. “Android devices linked to the same Google Account can find and share with each other,” the description says. The screenshot that Rahman shows shows as an example that it is possible to do ‘call switching’. This allows users to forward phone calls to other linked devices.

According to Rahman, it is also possible to do the same with the Internet. The latter cannot be seen in the screenshot. It is also not clear what ‘internet sharing’ exactly means; possibly it means that the internet connection of one device can be used on another.
