Google introduces floating keyboard for Android

Google has released a new version of its keyboard for Android. New in this version is that users can move the keyboard so that it can be placed anywhere on the screen.

The novelty is in version 7.6 of Google Keyboard, so discovered Android Police after a teardown of the apk installation file for Android. At first, it seemed that Google did not make the new functionality available to everyone yet, but Android Police says the rollout has started on a large scale.

With the new version of the Google keyboard for Android, a button has been built in which the user can move the location on the screen. The functionality of the keyboard does not change, and in addition, the whole becomes transparent if there is no typing for some time, so that the underlying content becomes visible. Users can adjust the size of the keyboard as desired.

Google Keyboard is the standard keyboard for many Android smartphones. In recent times, the manufacturer has added many new features, including a wipe keyboard.
