G.Skill has shown its first PC case, the Z5i. It is a mini-ITX housing that has five corners when viewed from above. There are also two 4mm thick glass doors. G.Skill does not mention price and availability yet.
The Z5i consists of an aluminum single-piece frame with a dual-chamber design. On the right side there is room for a single video card. This may take up a maximum of three slots and be 330mm long. On the left will fit a mini-ITX motherboard and an sfx power supply.
Furthermore, three storage disks fit in the housing; two 2.5″ SSDs and a third slot that fits a 2.5″ or 3.5″ SSD or HDD. The rear has room for a single 280mm AIO radiator or two 140mm fans.
There are three USB ports on the front. It involves two USB 3.0 ports and a single USB 3.1 Type-C port. The housing also has RGB lighting at the bottom via a 3-pin 5V plug and a magnetic dust filter at the top.
