Download Firmware Sony Playstation 3 2.43

Sony’s development department has again been given the green light to release a firmware upgrade for its Playstation 3 into the world. This time the version number has arrived at 2.43, where compared to the previous update no major changes can be found. The included list of changes only mentions an addition for renting content via the Japanese Playstation Store, so nothing really changes for non-Japanese players. The main features in version 2.43 of the system software

This update supports the release of content rental on the PLAYSTATION Store in the Japan region. Users in the SCEE region do not need to perform this update. However, it won’t hurt your system if you do the update.[break]
