Download Firmware Plextor PX4012TS (40/12/40S) 1.03

Plextor has released a new firmware update for its PX4012TS CD-writer. Also known as 40/12/40S (not to be confused with the 40/12/40A), the drive can now do its job with version 1.03 of its software. There are more than enough reasons to crank up the update program again this time:

Fixed Bugs:

Compatibility with MRW format of Ahead InCD 3.5 under Windows 2000.
• Compatibility with Play mode for Audio CD.

Added:

• Support for newer CD-R media.
• Support for newer CD-RW media.
