Download Firmware Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 1.3

Panasonic has for its Lumix DMC-LX3 digital compact cameras released new firmware, which has been given 1.3 as the version number. These cameras have a 1/1.63″ CCD image sensor with 10.1 megapixels on board and the built-in lens has a range of 24-60mm, bringing the optical zoom to 2.5x. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:

Version 1.3:

• Improved car white balance performance.
• Improved car white balance performance in sunset mode.
• Improved recovery operation from unremoved lens cap.
• Improved operation of MF ASSIST/AF area selection.
• Improved display or Manual Exposure Assistance.

Version 1.2:

• Improved white balance flash mode setting when DMW-FL220 is connected.
• Proper setting of shutter speed on iA mode and Scene mode when OIS is turned ON.
• Proper Exif information in the JPEG picture file.

Version 1.1:

• Compatibility update for the DMW-FL220 flash unit.
• Improved car white balance performance.
• Improved autofocus performance.
