Lite-On has released a new firmware for their external DVD rewriter, the LDW – 851S(x)† The zip file contains only one file that can be run under Windows, so you don’t have to bother with a DOS boot flop. Full instructions on how to flash your drive can be found here find. After flashing, the drive will like more different types of discs:
