Lite-On released a new firmware for its LDW-451S CD and DVD burner yesterday. The update has version number GSB7 and can be downloaded via this link be brought down. The main change in this release is the adjustment of the BookType. This technique makes it possible to turn a DVD+R(W) disc into a DVD-ROM disc so that it can be read by more players.
