Intel has for its MLC SSDs of the type X18-M and X25-M and are slc ssds of type X25-E new firmware released with 1.5 as version number. We have already paid attention to this earlier in this news article, but a mention in the Meuktracker should of course not be missing. The brief list of changes for this firmware update is as follows:

Intel SATA Solid State Drive Firmware Update Tool

Intel X25-E (50nm product)
No change for Intel X25-E SATA SSD 50nm products. The most current firmware stays at 045C8850.
