Download Firmware Dell Latitude D820 A05

LeLo alerts us to a new bios release for Dell’s Latitude D820 model series laptops. The bios has been numbered version A05 by the developers and can be downloaded by clicking this link to click. Two bug fixes and six improvements have been made in A05, including support for Windows Vista and a thermal control enhancement. Additionally, there are a number of fixes baked in regarding laptop battery usage and management. The full list of changes is posted below:

1. Fix Issue where BIOS can’t detect batteries if install a SMBUS
Fail battery first.
2. Fix Issue where physical presence screen appears twice when PPI
request 0x0a is requested.

Enhancements

1. Added support for newer Intel processors.
2. Update unsupported/unknown AC Adpator message.
3. Update battery warning message.
4. Update Computrace ROM 845 for support Vista.
5. Enhance multiply express cards support on vista.
6. Thermal control enhancement.
