Download Firmware AOpen DVD-1648/LKY 1.4

Two new firmware versions have appeared on the AOpen website for the DVD-1648/LKY 16x DVD ROM drive. Version 1.3 has improvements in reading CD-DA and data CDs, while 1.4 can read DVDs better. Why two versions were released on the same day and whether version 1.4 also includes the improvements of 1.3 has not been announced. The update can be performed under Windows, so there is no need to mess with a boot flop. The release notes for 1.3 and 1.4 together look like this:
