Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been given a release date. The second part of the Fantasy VII remake saga will be released on February 29, 2024 on the PlayStation 5. Sony announced this in a trailer during the State of Play on September 14.

Square Enix also announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is good for almost a hundred hours of gameplay. The publisher says that the second part of the remake trilogy covers ‘the start of the journey beyond Midgar to the center of the original Final Fantasy VII’.

After Rebirth, a third part in the series will be released, which will include the rest of the story. Earlier this month, Square Enix also confirmed the arrival of Final Fantasy XVI on PC. Furthermore, the publisher recently indicated that it was satisfied with the sales figures of FF XVI, despite disappointing profit figures.
