For the ALC650 audio chip, Realtek has released new drivers which have been given A3.44 as version number. The changelog informs us of the following changes:

Support independent SPDIF engine for nVidia MCP2 chipset under Windows 98 SE.

Improve the initialize procedure and the DMA access algorithm for VIA chipsets.

Add some customize settings.

Apply the Channel Order and FIFO Flush procedure for ATI A41 chipset.
