Download Driver For Intel Matrix Storage Manager 6.2.0.2002

Anonymous: 31180 discovered on Intel’s website that a new version of Intel Matrix Storage Manager has been released. This is a collection of drivers for the various Intel SATA-RAID controllers that work under a Windows operating system. The version number has now arrived at 6.2.0.2002 and features the following list of changes since the previous entry in the muck tracker:

Version 6.2.0.2002:

New features:
• Microsoft Windows Vista support

Issues resolved:

• 2125811 – Removedrv.txt file contains no content after an install to custom path
• 2138838 – Tray icon applet stops working shortly after login and Intel® Matrix Storage Console stops working when running a system report
• 2127818 – Help file can’t be opened intermittently after reinstalling Intel® Matrix Storage Manager
• 1979650 – When 16 character volume name is given, a strange character is added
• 2101137 – When a dirty shutdown occurs on a degraded RAID1/10 volume, volume goes to failed state
• 2125757 – HDDs are spun down for s5 state

Version 6.1.0.1002:

New features:
• Automatically checks for data inconsistencies upon reboot after a dirty shutdown for RAID1/RAID5/RAID10 volumes and repairs them (RAID1/RAID5/RAID10 only)

Issues resolved:

• 2016907 – Intel® Matrix Storage Console shows a progress text box when it should be hidden.
• 2039218 – FRA: Missing/corrupted characters in License agreement appended to Readme
• 2016951 – First few screens of the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager Setup Wizard are not localized
