Intel has released a new version of Application Accelerator RAID Edition, which is 3.5.0.2600. This update is only available for Windows 2k/XP and is described as follows:

The Intel Application Accelerator RAID Edition software package provides support for high-performance Serial ATA RAID 0 arrays and redundant RAID 1 arrays on select Intel 865 and 875 chipset-based platforms using Windows XP or Windows 2000.[break]Unfortunately the changes are not known in the changelog.
