Dell introduces four gaming monitors with refresh rates up to 240Hz

Dell is adding four copies to its Gaming Monitor line. There will be a flat 24.5″ monitor with IPS panel with a refresh rate of 240Hz. The other three have curved VA panels with diagonals of 27″, 32″ and 34″ and refresh rates of 165Hz and 144Hz.

The new gaming monitors all have a height-adjustable base. The S2522HG is the 24.5″ model with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 240Hz. This model is the only one of the four to have a flat IPS panel and an Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification, in addition to AMD FreeSync Premium support.

The Dell S277DGM and Dell S3222DGM are 27″ and 32″ monitors with similar specifications. Both have a VA panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz. The small model has a curvature of 1500R, while the larger variant has a curvature of 1800R and is therefore less bent.

Dell also introduces a 21:9 monitor with 34″ panel and a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. According to the manufacturer, this model displays 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and the refresh rate is 144Hz. The panel has a curvature of 1800R .

Dell hasn’t announced suggested retail prices yet. Those will follow as the release gets closer, the company says. The 24.5″ and 34″ monitors in the Dell Gaming series will go on sale May 27. The 27″ and 32″ versions will follow on June 22.
