A crowdfunding campaign for the relatives of YouTube game reviewer TotalBiscuit has reached the goal of $ 200,000 within three days. John Bain, better known as TotalBiscuit or the Cynical Brit, died Thursday from cancer.

The initiator, who claims to have spoken with Bain’s wife Genna, reports to the crowdfunding campaign on the Gofundme website that Bain’s work does not involve medical reimbursements or pension accrual. According to him, his relatives will have to deal with, among other things, the costs for housing, living expenses and the special needs of Bain’s son Orion. At the moment, the counter is almost at 208,000 dollars.

Bain was a very popular YouTube game reviewer who became popular with the casting of games like StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft, among other things. On Thursday, it was announced that TotalBiscuit has lost its battle against cancer after four years. He was 33 years old. The Briton already announced in 2014 that he had been diagnosed with cancer and that he was undergoing chemotherapy. A year later, he reported that his illness was terminal, but did not stop working until early May.
